When you shop at Kaerly

At Kaerly, all payments are made online via our webshop. Your safety when shopping with us is of course crucial. When you pay with a debit card or credit card, we send your card details directly to QuickPay (Danish payment provider). All data sent between you and QuickPay is encrypted, so no one can steal the information you enter.

What information do we need when you shop at Kaerly?

To give you the best possible experience on our webshop, Kaerly needs to know:

Your full name
Your address
Your mobile phone number
Your e-mail address

We treat all data confidentially when it is used for trading online as well as our ongoing customer satisfaction surveys. Your personal data will be stored at Kaerly, and your other data will be stored securely with our hosting partners.

We only use this data in connection with establishing and processing your order with us and to help you with any questions about your order. We only use your email address when processing your order and to conduct customer surveys. If you want to receive our newsletter, it requires that you give us separate permission to do so.

We need your phone number so that we can call you if there are problems with your order or to be able to deliver your order in the smartest way. We will never call you to sell you anything. Kaerly only transfers your data to relevant carriers so that they can deliver your order. We do not transfer, sell, or make your personal information available to others – including other companies.

We only release account and other personal information when we deem it necessary to comply with applicable law and to avoid fraud, e.g., in connection with misuse of credit cards.

We report fraudulent payments to the police. If this happens, your personal data may be used in a police investigation. The few pieces of information we ask for are essential to being able to complete your order, and we cannot do it without them.

We store your data for 5 years after your purchase.

What information does Kaerly use if I ask for an offer in a Kaerly Studio?

We only use this data in connection with establishing and processing your offer and to be able to help you with any questions about the offer.

We only use your email address when we send and process your offer. Would you like to receive our newsletter, then it requires that you give us separate permission to do so.

We use your phone number in connection with following up on your offer until the offer expires.

Cookies

We think that kaerly.com should be a website that is easy to maneuver around in and it should be filled with exactly the information you need. Therefore, we use cookies that collect and process information about how the website is used. In this way, we can continually improve the experience for everyone.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file – a kind of internal notepad for the website. That way Kaerly can, for example, remember the contents of your shopping basket so that you can return to it, your choice of language, an entered postcode or whether you have logged in as a regular user on kaerly.com.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we can also use the cookie to ensure that we only send you news that interests you.

We do not use the information we collect in these cookies for anything other than optimizing your experience of kaerly.com.

A cookie cannot contain a virus and therefore cannot harm your computer.

Which cookies do we have on kaerly.com?

We use two types of cookies on kaerly.com: Session cookies and third-party cookies.

The session cookie helps us to ensure that all website functions work as they should, and it is also the cookie that collects information about how you use kaerly.com. In addition, we save information in the cookie when you use our sharing function to tell others about our products via your social media – a third- party cookie from Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest is set here.

Third-party cookies, for example, help us to collect statistics for Google Analytics - including how many visits we have on the website and how you use kaerly.com. Then we can make the experience even better for the next time you stop by. We also use a cookie from Google DoubleClick, which helps to target advertising to you and ensure that the ads displayed are relevant to you.

How to delete cookies

If you do not want cookies from kaerly.com, you can always delete them. To delete cookies, you need to change a few settings in your browser.

Where you find the settings depends on which browser you use.

However, you should be aware that if you set your browser not to accept cookies, there are parts of kaerly.com that will not work as intended.
